Lutron Roman Shade Kits

Made for your project

A Roman fabrication kit provides the motorized lifting foundation for a custom Roman shade. Plumridge coordinates fabric, sewing and mounting with the selected Lutron kit, so the finished shade suits both the room and the control system.

Custom specification and quotation. Power, mounting and control compatibility are reviewed before equipment is ordered.

Choose your fabric

Use a textile selected for your room, subject to the shade construction and kit load limits. Lining, interlining and trim contribute to the total lifting weight and are included in the specification.

Battery or low-voltage power

Lutron lists Triathlon Roman fabrication kits with wire-free battery power and Sivoia Roman fabrication kits with low-voltage wiring. We confirm the exact kit, power supply and control compatibility for your project.

Inside or outside mount

Provide the clear opening dimensions and available depth for an inside mount. For an outside mount, decide how much casing and wall the shade should cover. The raised fabric stack affects how much glass remains visible.

Coordinate the whole room

Plan each shade’s finished size, lining, control location and grouping together. Your integrator confirms the equipment needed for keypad, scene and app operation.

Access matters

Leave access to the battery compartment or wired power connection. Agree on the headrail position and raised stack before fabrication, especially when the aim is to keep the glass clear.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own fabric?

Yes, subject to fabric suitability, construction and the selected kit’s lifting limits. Send the fabric information and finished dimensions for review.

Does motorization eliminate the folded stack?

No. A Roman shade still gathers into folds when raised. The headrail position and stack depth must be included in the design.
