Custom French Pleat Curtains & Drapery
Custom French-pleat curtains use pinched groups of folds for a classic, full and carefully tailored heading.
Step 1: Choose your drapery fabric

Start with a fabric family. After you choose a fabric, the Finder will return it here for your drapery.
Custom French Pleat drapery for your space
Choose two-finger or three-finger French pleats. Unlike Euro pleats gathered at the top, French pleats are pinched lower down so the folds fan above the pinch.
French pleats hang from compatible rings or track carriers with drapery hooks. We can help coordinate the pleat, lining and hardware.
Measure from the bottom of the ring or the agreed track hanging point to your finished hem. Provide the usable hardware width, opening direction and any return or overlap details.
Measure • Make • Install
From a single panel to a coordinated room, we help bring the details together. Send us photographs, measurements or plans through the design consultation form. We can discuss fabric samples, custom designs and local measurement and installation options.
Drapery questions, answered
Which heading should I choose?
Choose the appearance you prefer, then check compatibility with your rod or track. Pleated drapery generally uses rings or carriers; ripplefold requires a compatible track. Grommet, tab-top and rod-pocket headings fit directly over a suitable rod. We can help you compare the options.
Can I choose fabrics other than Sunbrella?
Yes. Explore Sunbrella, silk, cotton canvas, faux silk and linen in our Fabric Finder. Silk is for indoor use. For outdoor drapery, ask us to confirm that your chosen fabric and hardware suit the exposure.
How do I measure the finished length?
Measure from the actual hanging point to your intended finished hem. For rings, start at the bottom of the ring; for tracks, at the bottom of the carrier attachment. Rod-pocket and tab-top drapery are measured from the top of the rod. Grommet headings extend above the rod, so confirm that allowance before ordering. See the buying guide or send us a photograph for help.
Can you help with fullness, lining and installation?
Yes. Fullness depends on the heading, fabric and opening arrangement. We can discuss lining, privacy, light control and stack space, and confirm local installation availability through a design consultation.
