CS Cord Draw Drapery Track
Configure cord-operated drapery track with your track length, cord side, cord length and mounting details.
Cord-operated drapery tracks for coastal interiors
Corrosion-resistant materials with convenient cord control. CS Cord Draw uses a white powder-coated aluminum rail for coastal homes, island properties and humid interiors. Its slim profile provides a clean finish with wall or ceiling mounting.
Choose the cord side and finished cord drop for your window. We confirm compatible carriers, pulley arrangement, supports and mounting details for the drapery and location. A child-safety tension device is part of the complete system. Tell us about outdoor or direct salt-spray exposure so we can review the whole installation before production.

Frequently asked questions
How can I keep outdoor draperies from blowing around?
Our draperies have three layers of fabric in the hem, with small weights at seams and corners to help them hang neatly. When panels aren’t in use, we recommend gathering them with tiebacks secured to a wall or post.
We do not recommend tying the bottoms tightly to the floor. This can create a sail effect, placing extra strain on the drapery, header and mounting hardware during strong gusts.
For additional weight, we can sew a bottom pocket for a light, appropriately sized 316L stainless steel chain. This allows the panel to move while helping reduce flutter.
If floor restraints are necessary, we can discuss reinforced ½″ grommets and bungee cord connected to suitable floor anchors. These flush lift rings illustrate the style; suitability must be confirmed for your installation.
Weights and restraints do not make draperies windproof. Please contact us before adding either option.
Which side should the cord be on?
Select the side where the cord is easiest to reach and clear of furniture. The side is viewed from inside the room, facing the window.
How do I measure cord drop?
Measure vertically from the track to the preferred control position. Final cord length and child-safety tension-device placement are confirmed before production.
Can the track mount to the wall or ceiling?
Yes. Choose Wall Mount or Ceiling Mount above. We confirm bracket type and mounting substrate for the order.
Can I order a bent or curved Cord Draw track?
Discuss the shape with us and provide a precise template. The straight-track configuration cannot be used as a curved-track parts list.
Coastal hardware frequently asked questions
Why choose an aluminum drapery track for a coastal interior?
The powder-coated aluminum rail is corrosion-resistant and provides a discreet alternative to an ordinary steel rail in humid coastal interiors. Final suitability also depends on the finish, brackets, fasteners and actual exposure. We review the complete system for your project.
Is rust-proof hardware completely maintenance-free?
Rust-proof describes the corrosion-resistant materials selected for these systems. Salt deposits can still affect finishes and exposed components. Routine care and correctly specified brackets and fasteners help keep the complete installation looking its best.
Can I use this hardware outdoors or close to the ocean?
Tell us whether the installation is indoors, sheltered outdoors or exposed to sea spray. We review the finish, mounting surface, fasteners, drapery weight and exposure before recommending the complete system. An oceanfront interior and a fully exposed terrace need different consideration.
What information should I send for a coastal project?
Send your location, photographs, window measurements, wall or ceiling construction, drapery heading and approximate fabric weight. Include any outdoor exposure, curves or long spans so we can recommend the hardware and installation details together.
How should I care for a coastal drapery track?
Keep the track free of dust and inspect exposed brackets and fasteners as part of routine care. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the finished rail, carriers and operating parts. Ask us before applying cleaners or additional lubricant to the carrier channel.
