A simpler ceiling track

Powder-coated aluminium with an integrated mounting flange and holes every 16 inches. Available in white. CM mounts directly to a sound, flat ceiling without separate steel mounting brackets.

Straight tracks only. CM cannot be bent or curved. For bends, curves, wall mounting or bracket clearance, choose CS Contract Drapery Track. For a straight ceiling track in black or another available CS finish without brackets, see the CS direct-fixing instructions: prepared centre holes and small-head No. 6 screws provide an alternative to CM’s fixing flange.

Best suited to pinch pleat

Our recommended outdoor configuration uses pinch-pleat drapery with stainless steel drapery hooks and stainless outdoor master arms. Stainless hooks belong to the drapery and are not included in the track carrier count.

Ripplefold is available, with a limitation: its overlap and butt master arms are powder-coated steel. We cannot guarantee corrosion resistance of these parts outdoors. The aluminium track alone does not make the entire system rustproof.

Specify suitable corrosion-resistant fasteners for the ceiling and exposure. Forest's outdoor warranty applies to its Tavira collection; CM is not sold with a Forest outdoor warranty.

Long tracks and 45° mitred joints

Lengths above 96 inches are supplied in sections with precision 45° mitred joints. Fix the flange on each side of every joint, using additional drilled fixing holes as needed. The ceiling must be perfectly flat and coplanar at the joint: any step or twist can offset the channels and interrupt carrier travel. Do not pull the track out of alignment by tightening it against an uneven ceiling.

Use suitable backing and fasteners. Mounting holes every 16 inches do not guarantee that each hole coincides with structural support.
