Custom Cordless Cellular Shade

Custom cordless cellular shade filtering daylight in a calm neutral living room
Illustrative room setting. Choose fabric color from a physical sample.

Custom width and length, with more colors, textures and light control. Raise or lower the shade using the bottom rail.

Enter the actual opening width for inside mount. The factory takes the ¼″ deduction; do not subtract it yourself.

Fabric & light control

Choose single cell, double cell or cell-in-a-cell fabric, with light-filtering or blackout options according to collection. Smooth, solid, printed and woven textures are available.

Custom size

Cordless operating range: 12″–96″ finished width and 10″–96″ height, subject to fabric-specific limits. Custom shades are made to the ordered length.

Mount & headrail depth

Choose inside or outside mount. For 9/16″ or 7/16″ fabric with the standard 9/16″ rail: ⅞″ minimum mounting depth and 2″ flush. Standard ¾″ rail with ¾″ fabric: ½″ minimum and 2½″ flush. Select the fabric cell size above for the depth check.

Named fabric collections

Choose the fabric by name, color, cell size and opacity. Each named collection retains its original Price Group 1–10 number for accurate quoting.

Who takes the inside-mount deduction?

Enter and submit your actual opening width unchanged. The factory takes the ¼″ total width deduction once. Neither you nor Plumridge should subtract it. Outside-mount orders use the agreed finished width with no factory width deduction.

How do I get my quote?

Copy the measurements above and send them with your preferred fabric code, color and quantity. We confirm fabric compatibility, mounting and final price before placing the order.

Cellular Shade FAQs

What does a 9/16″, ¾″ or 1¼″ cell size mean?

These are nominal fabric cell/pleat sizes, specified by the manufacturer and shown on the fabric sample. The measurement describes one repeating honeycomb fabric fold seen in the side profile. For example, 9/16″ is 0.5625 inch and ¾″ is 0.75 inch. It does not describe the width of your window, the overall shade length or the recess depth.

Why choose a different cell size?

Smaller cells make finer, more closely spaced horizontal lines; larger cells give fewer, broader pleats and often suit larger windows. The choice also changes the available fabrics, colors and compatible operating systems. Choose by appearance and the options available for your shade, then check its size limits and mounting-depth requirements separately.

Does a larger cell always insulate better or need the same mounting depth?

Insulation depends on the complete fabric, opacity and cell construction. Single cell has one layer of air pockets; double cell and cell-in-a-cell use a second layer or nested pocket. Cell size alone does not establish insulation performance or the space required by the headrail. Use the listed mounting and flush-fit depths for your selected shade and motor.
