What if I measure incorrectly?
If you find that your measurements were slightly off don’t fret! We will work with you to find the best solution. If your window treatment is too wide, we may be able to cut it down in width to the proper size for you at no charge (but that depends upon the product, fabric and width). If it cannot be cut down, or it’s a different issue, such as the product is too narrow, or the length is incorrect – we will allow you to purchase a new product in the correct dimensions at 50% off. (Offer valid for 30 days after order date and must be replacing the original window treatment purchased).
What if I don’t like what I ordered?
If you receive something that you don’t like, we will work with you to rectify the issue. For starters, in the unlikely event there is something wrong with the production of your window treatment we will immediately remake or repair the product to your liking. If you simply feel you selected the wrong product or material, we will allow you to purchase a new product to your liking at 50% off. (Offer valid for 30 days after order date and must be replacing the original window treatment purchased). Bottom line, it is our mission to satisfy each and every customer and we will do whatever is necessary to accomplish that goal.
What if Plumridge’s measure and install professional makes an error?
We stand behind every one of our professionals. In the unlikely event that your measurements are incorrect, we will replace the product at no extra charge. If they make an installation error, we will reinstall at no extra charge.
What if my shade breaks?
All of our products are constructed from the finest materials and components available. Under normal use, your window treatment should operate hassle-free for many years. In the unlikely event that your window treatment stops functioning correctly, just give us a call and we’ll help you get it fixed. If you used our measure & install services, we will send the professional back as needed free of charge. Silks fabrics are print to sun damage over time. There is no recourse against sun damage to silk but we line and interline so that should obviate the problem. The leading edges are particularly prone to sun damage if they have direct exposure.

Limited LIFETIME WARRANTY
What our warranty covers:
We provide a limited lifetime warranty (the “Warranty”) on the product against manufacturing defects (i.e., a flaw in the product design, materials or workmanship that causes the product to no longer function) under normal use and for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. If your product is defective during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective product. This shall be your sole remedy under this Warranty. The Warranty is extended to the original retail purchaser only, is non-transferable, and only applies to custom-made products in the original windows for which the product was ordered and intended. The warranty period for motors and related accessories is limited to 5 years from the date of receipt of goods.
What our warranty does not cover:
- defects that result from abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, accidents, alterations, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, or failure to follow use and care instructions. Examples of normal wear and tear include, but are not limited to: fraying of fabrics, loss of color intensity, exposure to salt air, damage from insects or pets, normal fading from sunlight, or loss of pleating (if product is not being cycled (held in the raised position for an appreciable portion of the time));
- normal maintenance associated with motors and related accessories including, but not limited to, recharging and replacement of batteries;
- any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or reinstallation in the same or any other window or application;
- products unusable by reason of miss-measurement or assembly or installation not in accordance with product installation instructions;
- shipping costs, costs of removal, re-measuring and reinstallation.
If Warranty service is ever needed please contact Customer Service at and we will arrange for warranty
repair or replacement as quickly as possible. When contacting Customer Service to request warranty repair or replacement, please be prepared to provide your name, address, a description of the problem, the date of purchase, and the date and conditions under which the problem occurred. When shipping the product to back Customer Service, please include: a copy of order receipt to verify the original date of purchase; your name; address; a description of the problem; and the date and conditions under which the problem occurred.
